The acceptance of works for the Children's Art Competition “The Beauty of God's World. In the nomination "Orthodox icon"

With the blessing of the Metropolitan of Astrakhan and Kamyzyak Nikon on October 28 in the Astrakhan State Art Gallery. P. M. Dogadin, the regional stage of the international competition of children's creativity "The Beauty of God's World" took place.

The competition is held with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. In Astrakhan, the organizer of the competition is the Department of Religious Education of the Astrakhan Diocese with the support of the city's Ministry of Culture and the Dogadinsky Picture Gallery.

The purpose of the competition is the spiritual, moral and patriotic education of the younger generation, introducing young people to Orthodox culture, as well as identifying new talents.

This year, more than 150 works were submitted at the regional stage of the "Beauty of God's World" contest. All of them, as always, were diverse in plot, technique and style, and their performers - pupils of Sunday, general education and art schools in the city of Astrakhan - were divided into 3 age groups.

The jury included: Archpriest Konstantin Osatsky, Head of the Department of Religious Education of the Astrakhan Diocese; Hierodeacon Nikandr (Pilishin), Head of the Department for Church Relations with Society and the Media; P. At the end of the working meeting, the jury members selected 18 best drawings. The awarding of young artists will take place in early December in the art gallery, where the exhibition "The Beauty of God's World" will be held, and the works of the winners of the regional stage will be presented at the final stage of the competition, which will be held in Moscow.











An international competition of children's creativity "Beauty of God's World" has been announced. Deadline November 1, 2017.

Organizer: Sector of events and competitions of the Synodal Department of Religious Education and Catechism of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Students of general education (secondary), secondary special educational institutions, institutions of additional education, Sunday schools, pupils of preschool and other children's institutions in Russia and abroad are invited to participate.

Participants of the Competition, reflecting in their works everything that surrounds them in everyday life - their family, friends, home and city, nature in its various manifestations, transfer to paper their vision of the world created by God, children learn to see beauty around them, and it means to love your land, your homeland.

Works sent to the Competition must meet the following requirements: they are made in graphic (pencil) or pictorial (watercolor, gouache, pastel, oil, ink) technique, the size of the work is not less than 30×40 cm and not more than 50×70 cm, have fields with a width of at least 0.5 cm are not made out with a passe-partout or frames. On the reverse side of the work, the following must be indicated: surname, name, age of the author, telephone number for contacting parents or official representatives of the author (indicating the code of the country and locality), the title of the drawing, as well as the surname, name, patronymic of the teacher, the full name of the educational institution, his address.

To participate, you must send a completed application and work to the regional diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church (related to the region of residence of the contestant). The diocese selects the best works and sends them to the next stage of the competition.

  • The total number of prizes is 30. All winners are paid for accommodation, meals, excursion program. Travel expenses must be paid by the local diocese.
  • The winners of the Competition, who took 1st place in each nomination, are awarded with Patriarchal letters and valuable gifts.

REGULATIONS ON THE ORGANIZATION AND CARRYING OUTREGIONAL COMPETITION OF DRAWINGS AND PHOTOS "MY TEMPLE"

GENERAL PROVISIONS.

1.1. These Regulations determine the procedure for organizing and holding the regional competition of drawings and photographs "My Temple" (hereinafter referred to as the Competition).
1.2. The regulation was developed in accordance with Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 30, 2015 No. 1493 “On the state program “Patriotic education of citizens of the Russian Federation for 2016-2020”, the state program of the Lipetsk region “Implementation of the domestic policy of the Lipetsk region for 2014-2020” .

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE COMPETITION.

2.1. The purpose of the Competition is the patriotic education of the population of the Lipetsk region.
2.2. Tasks:

  • introduce residents to Orthodox culture;
  • to focus the population on an active civic position in the sphere of universal values: patriotism, preservation of traditions, familiarization with the spiritual, moral and cultural heritage;
  • create conditions for the disclosure and realization of the creative potential of the population of the Lipetsk region;
  • accumulation of materials for the purpose of their effective use to fill the information space about the Lipetsk region.

COMPETITORS.

Citizens residing in the territory of the Lipetsk region at the age of 14 to 35 participate in the Contest.

COMPETITION ORGANIZER. 4.1. The competition is organized and conducted by the Center for Patriotic Education of the Population of the Lipetsk Region (hereinafter referred to as the Organizer) with the assistance of the Department of Internal Policy of the Lipetsk Region.
4.2. Organizer:

  • develops the Regulations on the organization and conduct of the Competition;
  • sends the Regulations to the municipalities of the Lipetsk region, social partners, heads of educational institutions and public organizations;
  • accepts applications for participation in the Contest;

  • forms the composition of the Competition Commission;

COMPETITION PROCEDURE.

5.1. Participants present works that characterize the beauty, rich history, significant events and worthy residents of the Lipetsk region.
To participate in the Competition, you must send works in the following nominations:

Competitive work can be done in any painting and graphic technique or application.
Requirements for competitive work:

  • the authorship of competitive works must be individual;
  • the competitive work is drawn up on sheets of A-3 format. Material: gouache, watercolor, pencil, etc. (without passe-partout!);
  • all materials submitted to the Contest must meet the intended purpose;
  • Works submitted for the Contest are not returned or reviewed.

The competition is dedicated to round dates: the 870th anniversary of Moscow, the 660th anniversary of the Spaso-Andronikov Monastery, the 620th anniversary of the Sretensky Monastery, the 530th anniversary of the Moscow Kremlin, the 330th anniversary of the Slavic-Greek-Latin Academy.

From April 4, 1147, the Russian capital calculates its years according to the first mention of Moscow, preserved in the Ipatiev Chronicle. This documentary source on the history of Ancient Russia indicates a meeting in a town called Moskov of the Rostov-Suzdal prince Yuri Dolgoruky with friends and allies led by the Novgorod-Seversky prince Svyatoslav Olgovich on the day "Heel to Praise the Virgin", i.e. on Saturday April 4, 1147. AT 2017 Moscow turns 870 years. In the same year, Moscow monasteries celebrate round dates: 660 years Spaso-Andronikov Monastery, 620 years Sretensky Monastery. Also noted 530 years visiting card of the Russian capital - the Moscow Kremlin and 330 years– Slavic-Greek-Latin Academy. The Competition is dedicated to these events in the history of the Fatherland.

1. General Provisions

1.1. The regulation determines the procedure and conditions for holding the Competition of drawings, photographs, videos, crafts, poems, stories, historical facts called “Wonderful City, Ancient City”, dedicated to round dates:

  • 870th anniversary of Moscow,
  • 660th anniversary of the Spaso-Andronikov Monastery,
  • 620th anniversary of the Sretensky Monastery
  • 530th anniversary of the Moscow Kremlin,
  • 330th anniversary of the Slavic-Greek-Latin Academy.

1.2. Purpose and objectives of the Competition:

  • formation of a positive image of historical values ​​and traditions among the participants, knowledge of the history and development of Orthodox culture in Moscow;
  • acquaintance with the original culture, art, Orthodox traditions, the best examples of monastic crafts, providing an opportunity for children and adults to show their creative abilities;
  • formation of a stable interest of children and adults in Orthodox culture, raising the cultural and spiritual level of modern society;
  • development of spiritual and aesthetic worldview in children and adults, promotion of the best spiritual achievements of the Russian people, education of love for the capital of our Motherland - Moscow;
  • attracting children and adults to various types of creativity;
  • preservation and support of the historical and cultural wealth of the people.

2. Procedure and timing

2.1. The competition runs from November 2016 to April 2017.

2.2. The competition is held in the following categories:

  • "Orthodox Moscow in drawings, photographs, videos, crafts, poems, stories, historical facts";
  • "Savior-Andronikov Monastery in drawings, photographs, videos, crafts, poems, stories, historical facts";
  • "Sretensky Monastery in drawings, photographs, videos, crafts, poems, stories, historical facts";
  • "Temples of the Moscow Kremlin in drawings, photographs, videos, crafts, poems, stories, historical facts";
  • "Slavic-Greek-Latin Academy in drawings, photographs, videos, crafts, poems, stories, historical facts."

2.3. Works for the Competition are accepted from December 1, 2016 to April 25, 2017.

3. Terms of participation

3.1. Children and adults over the age of 5 are invited to participate in the Competition. The competition is held in five age groups:

  • 1st group: from 5 to 8 years;
  • 2nd group: from 9 to 12 years old;
  • 3rd group: from 13 to 15 years old;
  • 4th group: from 16 to 18 years old;
  • 5th group: from 19 years old and older.

3.3. Drawings(drawing) sent to the Competition are created in any technique on A3 or A4 sheets.

3.4. On the back of each drawing, the name of the author, age, place of study or work, contact details (phone number, email address), name of the drawing, nomination are indicated.

3.5. Unsigned drawings are not allowed to the Contest.

3.6. Photos, videos to the Contest are accepted in electronic form by address: [email protected].

3.7. Participants of the Competition will be awarded with diplomas and commendations.

3.8. Entries submitted to the Contest will not be reviewed or returned.

3.10. Submission of works to the Competition means the automatic consent of the author of the work (works) and his official representative with the terms of the Competition.
