A guild in Black Desert is a fairly large group of up to 100 players. You can create, or rather, register a guild with a certain NPC "Guildmaster" - for 100,000 silver. The guild is created on the basis of, that is, you can first create a clan, and then convert it to a guild. Guildmasters are not marked on the map, but they can be found in almost any city.

Above the head of such an NPC is a badge with a flag. Below in the image: the starting city of Olivia and the location of the guildmaster with whom you can register a clan / guild.

Guild management starts with the [G] key - with it you can access the guild interface. You can also manage guild quests through this interface, which are quite important for the guild - completing guild quests allows it to replenish its treasury and level up.

In Black Desert, guilds are organized in a rather original way, thanks to the special existing entry system, which implies the possibility of signing an agreement with the guild leader. In the guild recruitment contract, the leader determines the bonus/commission/term of the contract.
If the player leaves the guild before the end of the contract, he will have to pay the fine specified in the contract. Also, the character who left the guild will have a fine that does not allow him to join other guilds during the day. If the leader himself terminates the contract with the player, which has not expired, he will also have to pay a fine. After the expiration of the contract, the contract can be renewed or the interaction can be terminated without paying a penalty.

For a guild with thirty members or less, including the guild leader and deputies, the guild bonus cannot be activated. A guild member with a fee of 1,000,000 silver or more can only receive a salary when 10 or more guild members are online.

The guild treasury can only be replenished with the help of guild quests. Activation of the [Deposit] button by the developers is not planned in the near future.

In addition, membership in a guild implies the possibility of participating in a guild war. This is quite important for PvP lovers - in the event of an active war, it will be possible to attack members of a hostile guild without incurring karma penalties. Warring guild characters can fight without level restrictions and without turning on the PvP mode. A guild can declare war on a maximum of 6 guilds. The success or failure of such battles will be seen in the results of the declared war.

In addition to guild warriors, the guild can participate in order to gain control over the territory, which also presents a lot of opportunities for those who like to take part in the PvP life of the server.

In the event that the head of the guild is absent for 30 days, his deputy will be able to take command of the guild.

The guild can buy a guild house - a large living space that can accommodate all members of the guild. It can be purchased for 14 days by placing a bet with the guild master in any of the cities. It should be borne in mind that only the head of the guild can make a bet. During the auction, a maximum of 3 bets can be placed on one house. Guild houses allow you to create goods for guild imperial trade, as well as raise an adult from a baby elephant and produce battle equipment for elephants. The guild house contains the guild warehouse, where each guild member can put guild items, for example, to create imperial goods. Any member of the guild can also pick up items from the guild warehouse.

Any guild can "pump" skills, which can be divided into combat, craft and others according to their usefulness. These skills are mostly passive, active can only be activated by the head and deputy head of the guild.

The head of the guild can set the emblem of the guild, for greater recognition. It is important to note that the installation of the emblem of the guild is possible only on Mondays. In order to set the emblem of the guild, you must:

Place an image in png format (60x60) with the name Gmark at: С/Users/<Имя пользователя>/Documents/Black Desert;
Purchase an item for registering a coat of arms from the NPC "Guild Manager" at the expense of the guild treasury;

Elephants are powerful mounts with a lot of health and a powerful attack. In order to get an elephant you need:

- Register it with the guild groom and get the Baby Elephant item;
- Place the Baby Elephant item in the guild warehouse along with the items needed to raise an adult elephant;
- Go through the process of growing an elephant, similar to the process of multi-stage creation of an item. All members of the guild can participate in it, involving their workers;
- When all stages of cultivation are completed, a “Certificate: Elephant” will appear in the guild warehouse, which the guild leader or his deputy must register with the guild groom, resulting in an elephant;
Only the guild leader and his deputy can call the elephant, but all members of the guild can ride it. There are 3 places on the elephant in total: one for the rider, the other two for spearmen attacking enemies.

Unlike some MMORPGs, a guild in Black Desert is not just a group of like-minded people with a separate chat. On the one hand, it is a serious military organization that claims to own territories. On the other hand, it is a financial structure that helps all its participants to get rich.

Clan

The first step is to create a clan. To do this, you should contact the guild master, which is in any major city. The clan has some restrictions. It cannot accommodate more than 15 members, have its own emblem, the head and officers cannot take guild quests. The cost of creating a clan is 150,000 silver. The cost of converting it to a guild is 100,000 silver. If you want to get all the benefits that the guild gives, you should definitely convert the clan.

Volunteer Recruitment

A contract is concluded for each new member. The trial period is one day. After their expiration, the contract can be extended for lines of no more than one month. The contract specifies the amount of salary that the recruit receives from the guild treasury. The initial size is 30,000 silver. When the contract is extended, the amount may increase. The amount of salary depends on the activity of the player. You can renew the contract no more than once a day.

Important! Not one character joins a clan or guild, but the whole family, that is, all the characters on the account.

A player who left the guild voluntarily will be able to join a new one after a day. Also, a guild that has expelled one or more players will only be able to recruit new members in a day.

Guild leveling

For completing guild tasks, the guild receives experience and silver to the general treasury. The complexity of the task and the reward received depends on the size of the guild, that is, the number of participants. Experience points can be spent on increasing the maximum number of members, protecting the weakest members during guild wars (they gain full immunity so that members of a hostile guild cannot kill them even in PC mode), and activating skills.

Quests are divided into combat and general. During the combat quest, guild members are required to destroy a certain number of mobs of a certain type in a limited time. General quests - logging (logs, pine, cedar, alder, cypress or maple), (most often quests for a shallow goby or barb) or delivery of regional goods. In general tasks, quests for the guild boss are available: after destroying a small number of mobs, you will receive a summoning scroll.

The quest can be taken by the head of the guild or any of the officers, but for this 3 members of the guild must be online. Regardless of size, any guild can do no more than 5 quests per day. The quest must be completed on the channel on which it was accepted: progress is not counted on other channels. Practice shows that most combat and fishing quests, as well as all collection tasks, can be easily completed alone. At least 2 participants are required to comfortably complete a trade task (due to the fact that regional goods that one character can purchase have a quantity limit).

Guild Benefits

These include material benefits: daily salary and loot received for killing the guild boss. But the main thing is the additional buffs that all participants acquire thanks to the skills of the guild:

Furious Shout: 5 levels, increased accuracy;

Roar of battle: 5 levels, increased attack power;

Flame of life: 5 levels, increase the maximum amount of health;

Flame protection: 5 levels; damage reduction;

Expert Hand: 3 levels, Gathering skill increase;

Fisherman's Hand: 3 levels, skill increase;

Master movement: 3 levels, increase the protection of goods from damage;

Protection: 3 levels, reduced damage from siege weapons.

Bonuses from multiple levels do not stack. Therefore, in order to get the maximum advantage, the skill must be pumped to the maximum. Several skills, which can only be used by the guild master, provide short-term bonuses in the form of increased luck, combat or crafting experience gained, and skill points.

A guild can declare war on any other guild (but no more than 6 wars at a time). Members of warring guilds for killing an enemy are not penalized in the form of a decrease in karma. You can fight anywhere except the safe zone - all major cities and some small settlements.

The guild that owns the node or castle receives additional income to the treasury - the fatter the node or castle, the more. Sieges are held on channels marked War at a strictly allotted time for each territory. To take part in the siege, you will need a powerful computer: in a 50x50 battle, the lags are simply terrible.

The disadvantages of the guild include the fact that completing guild quests requires time that you could spend on pumping your own character. But, in general, even a small pumped guild has more advantages than obvious disadvantages.

In many multiplayer games, there are various player alliances. Most often, the guild is a small group of like-minded people who communicate with each other and sometimes perform some tasks together. Korean developers have gone much further. In the game Black Desert Online, the guild is a full-fledged organization that carries out military expansion and financial activities to enrich all its members. So that players can understand all the nuances of this structure, we decided to create this review. It is completely dedicated to all aspects of the creation and functioning of a guild that claims to own territories and resources in the Black Desert Online game space. Clan creation process

First you need to create a clan, which can include a maximum of fifteen players. To do this, you need to contact the Guildmaster, who can be found in almost any city, from Olbia to Calpheon. In the dialogue with this character, you need to click on the "Clan / Guild" tab, and then click on the "Confirm" button. After that, you need to enter the name of your clan. The name of the clan in the future will be indicated immediately above the name of the game character. Please note that the maximum number of characters is 16 characters. Now the player has his own clan, so you can move on to inviting other game participants to join it. If the player has decided to disband the clan, he needs to select the appropriate button in the clan menu, which appears after pressing the G key on the keyboard.

Distinctive features of the clan:

the clan does not have its own coat of arms,
the clan cannot capture territories,
the clan cannot declare war.

Despite these limitations, clans play an important role in Black Desert Online. Do not forget that all the most powerful guilds started their journey with a small clan. Therefore, carefully select the players who should become your faithful allies.

Converting a clan to a guild

To convert a clan into a guild, you must again seek help from the Guildmaster. As in the case of creating a clan, for this you need to click on the "Clan / Guild" tab and then click on the "Confirm" button. This procedure will cost 100,000 in-game silver. 80% of this amount will go to the general treasury, where the guild's income will gradually flow. At the same time, the new formation will retain the former name of the clan, as well as the composition of the participants, who will automatically transfer to the guild. The first difference is that now you will need to create a unique coat of arms. To do this, you need to transfer a 60x60 pixel image to a folder located on the player's computer at Users//Documents/Black Desert. The image format must first be converted to .png, and its name must be changed to Gmark. Having done this simple operation, the player will receive a unique coat of arms that will distinguish his guild from other military organizations.

The second feature is the presence of a special settlement system with players who are part of the guild. If the guild needs new members, then each of them will need to conclude a monthly contract with a trial period of one day. Under the terms of the contract, recruits will receive an official salary, which has an initial amount of 30,000 in-game silver. If the new guild member is doing a great job, then the contract can be extended and the salary will increase in full accordance with the level of activity of the player. To conclude this contract, you need to approach the recruit and press the Ctrl key, and then select the "Invite to Guild" button. After that, you can choose a specific duration of the contract and specify the exact amount of the fee, as well as the main conditions for the player's participation in the guild.

Successful development of the guild

Game silver and guild points go to the general treasury for completing certain tasks. The complexity of these tasks and the amount of reward directly depend on the number of players in the guild. In the future, these points and silver can be spent on increasing the maximum number of participants, supporting the weakest players, or activating special skills. All tasks can be divided into two categories:

combat missions involve the destruction of some monsters or monsters for a certain period of time;
common tasks require harvesting valuable timber, catching fish, or delivering goods to remote regions.

It is worth noting that the destruction of the guild boss is a common task. To do this, the head of the guild or any of the officers is given a special call scroll. At the same time, at least three guild members must be in the game.

The guild can buy a large house where all its members can comfortably accommodate. How to create a guild?

A clan can also be converted into a guild at any Guildmaster. Just select "Guild" and "Confirm" in the dialog:

But it's not free. To create a guild, you need to pay 100 thousand silver. Of this amount, 80% will remain in the guild treasury, creating initial capital. What is a contract?

The next difference between a guild and a clan is the presence of a contract. This is a document that confirms that you have hired a certain player in your community and undertake to pay him a certain amount daily. You invite players in the same way as the previous community, you just choose the period for which the contract will be signed and the amount of the fee to the participant. All the conditions under which you take participants to your place are also spelled out in the contract. For example:

As you can see, there are a number of caveats here that make the guild a serious organization and prevent players from changing guilds like gloves. For example, if you decide to leave your group before the expiration of the contract, you will have to pay a fine for this, and you will not be able to join other guilds during the day. To early dismiss a player, you must also pay him an allowance from the general treasury. Payments are not made if you fire a player after the end of the contract. Participants can collect their fee every day in the afternoon. To do this, open the guild menu and select the "Take money" menu. Try not to miss a day, as the fee does not accumulate.

The guild leader must rationally allocate the overall budget, consider the amount of the fee for each member, depending on his activity and help his fellows and the common goal.

You must remember that for the normal functioning and prosperity of the guild, you need to constantly increase two important parameters - points and treasury. The accumulation of points is possible due to the accumulation of guild exp, which grows with the level of activity of the participants. Everything is important here: your new level in the game, improving your skills, completing tasks. But the most points are given by the execution of guild tasks, which we will discuss in more detail below.

How to participate in guild wars?

In war, the death of another player does not affect your karma, therefore, fans of war games and massacres - you definitely need to take part in military campaigns.

In the guild interface, you can view Info about the wars that you threw (the first tab) and about the wars that you threw (respectively, the second). If the var is one-sided, a shield with coins will appear, and if you do not want to fight with this guild, press "Peace" opposite the enemy.

Now the guild wars are as follows (the mechanics may change after the next patches):

What does the guild list show?

The guild list is all information about the members of this community. It is displayed in a special tab and can be sorted by class, position, level, activity, nickname:

Active players are shown (their nicknames, fees, the channel on which they play) and those who are offline (there is less information on them - the last name, and how long they are absent from the server).

What are guild missions?

It is very important for guilds to take on different tasks to complete their level, which determines the accrual of guild points and the replenishment of the treasury. Tasks can be of two types:

Peaceful: there are trade and gathering;

Combat: consists in killing monstry, whose level is higher than 47.

Quests can be different, depending on the size of your guild:

huge;
large;
medium;
small.

The requirements are correspondingly different for each group, as are the rewards. To accept the task, an advance must be paid from the treasury. This is an additional incentive for success, because if the quest fails, the advance will not be returned to you. The head or deputy of the guild activates and completes the quest, and all participants who meet the requirements can perform it. For example:

There are several requirements for assignments:

1. Only active members of the guild can complete the quest (the contract is not blue).

2. The quest takes place on the channel on which it was activated.

3. The task is performed by a group of 3-10 people.

4. One guild can take no more than 5 quests per day.

5. If you did not complete the quest you took, or simply refused it, this will not affect the total number of tasks available for the day (refused 2 quests - you can only complete 3).

6. At least 10 minutes must pass between the completed quest and the new one.

7. The list of guild quests is updated from time to time.

Does the guild have special skills?

Each guild has a system of skills, the study and leveling of which can significantly strengthen the community. To learn each skill, you need guild points. But most skills are passive, that is, I act from the moment I start learning. But these skills apply only to active participants (the contract is valid).

What is "siege activity"?

There is such a thing as siege activity. This is a tab in your menu where you can find detailed information about the kills (who killed how many enemies and which ones).
